Competing is both rewarding and demanding - physically, mentally, emotionally and financially. As competitors we bare the burden because we love what we do. As fans, you pay to watch us compete; to see us at our best and to show your support of this great sport. Most competitors pay for all the necessary components that go into a successful season - thousands of dollars on custom rhinestone suits, entry fees, tanning products, makeup, manicures, hair, training and nutrition, airplane tickets and hotels and countless hours practicing holds, walks and quarter turns…oh yeah, and most of us have real jobs too. Many people think that once a Figure competitor earns Pro status, sponsors begin knocking down the doors to sign them (I wish). Well, not so. Only a small percentage of competitors sign sponsorship contracts...the rest of us talented ladies are still responsible for paying our way - but now the stakes and costs are higher as we are competing at a professional level. But also as Pros, we are "bigger fish in a smaller pond", one of the elite few, and much more visible in the industry. So, where do you come in? This is a win-win situation! Sponsorship can come as a monetary donation, as free services or as free products.
